Grand plat

glazed red stoneware coupe. I used the pinching technique. No potter weel or longs rolls for this one. Just a ball of clay slowly flattened then curved between my thumb and my index. i glazed him in a very nonchalant way as evidenced by the large drops of glaze. He sat on a shelf for a very long time because of this large crack. Abandonned. But somehow, one day it became obvious that this was precisely what gave the pot it's elegance. A beautiful crack who decided to express itself freely without my involvement
